Hey Guys, you won’t believe what I did this weekend. I took my first solo trip to another city. I feel like such a big girl!!! It all started as I was looking for something random to do alone. I originally just wanted to go to a concert solo. I stumbled across a concert with DVSN, a newer artist recently signed under Drakes OVO camp. I saw he’d be performing in San Antonio and naively thought it was only a 30 minute trip. Turned out to be almost 2 hours (LOL!).
I figured I’d end up having a drink, so I thought it best to just stay overnight! I woke up early Saturday and drove on down. Sadly, it was a little overcast on Saturday, so I didn’t get to sit outside at a coffee shop and work on my blog. But I still got to enjoy myself, nonetheless.
1. First stop? The San Antonio Riverwalk, of course!
Even with the overcast, it was still a beautiful sight. But having been fresh off of the highway, I was craving a breakfast taco! Try as I may, I tried really hard to Google the best taco spot, but I had no luck. So I settled for RIO RIO…. don’t go there for a breakfast taco.

Below is a view of the Riverwalk from above. There were so many people out, even though the weather was a little wonky.

2. Try a frozen Margarita from The Thirsty Aztec
This made my lonely ass walk along the Riverwalk 10 times better! There are some pretty beautiful sights along the trail as well.

3. Food at Dick’s Last Resort. This place is soooooooo funny. It may sound corny as hell. But the waiters do this thing where they write a funny message on a paper hat and put it on your head. Ugh, you just have to see for yourself. This place is on the Riverwalk as well.
4. Visit the Alamo. It’s free for all visitors and you even get a free photo. Which reminds me, I forgot to look at the picture that I took :(. You get to look at the original location of the battle and learn the history behind the battle. Texas say, “Remember the Alamo” for a reason.

5. Enjoy a concert at the Aztec Theatre. This is right above the Thirsty Aztec. It was such a nice venue.

I must say I really enjoyed my first time in San Antonio! I hope that you enjoy your stay while there. Please don’t hesitate to drop a comment below if you’ve ever been to San Antonio or if you have any suggestions for us new visitors. In the mean time, I couldn’t close this out without a little entertainment from the DVSN concert (please understand, I stay messing up the words to songs). FYI: Bomb as show.
