So, I may or may not be obsessed with watching make up videos on Youtube. Honestly, sometimes I’m more in to Youtube than I am of regular tv. I have watched probably over 100 videos about make up. And I have noticed a trend. Most make up artist have a favorite product and I’ve noticed multiple make up artist using the same items. So out of the kindness of my heart, I’ve compiled a list of products that I believe every lover of make up should keep in their arsenal.

NARS Creamy Concealer, everyone loves this stuff. Pick the shade that works best for you and gone about your business.

Anastasia is thee Queen of eyebrows. Want to fill them in with a pencil? There’s a brow Wiz for that. Like pomade? There’s dip brow for that. I personally believe you should shape your brows with the Brow Wiz and fill them in with the dip brow. School of thought? That Brow Wiz is a weeeee bit expensive to be wasting it on filling in my brows. My dip brow will last forever, I’m sure of it. My Brow Wiz, however, will not.

Somehow this little teardrop has managed to replace most make up brushes. Sad really, but it genius. It truly gets the job done. I haven’t used a make up brush (asides for my eyes) in eons. For the best results, you should dampen your beauty blender before use. It will help the make up spread better. Also, just like make up brushes, be sure to clean you beauty blender.

The Shade and Light Palette is highly revered. Everyone owns one, except me 😦 I swear its one of the next pieces of make up that I plan to purchase. I only allow myself one major purchase a month. 😦 This palette is used for eyes, it is a very neutral palette, ideal for everyday use.

It could just be me, but I’m pretty sure Anastasia Beverly Hills is thebomb.com. So this here pallete is used for contouring. It is offered in three different shades: light, medium and dark. I use the medium kit. It comes in both powder and cream. Very good quality. My other favorite product for highlight/ contouring is L.A. Pro Concealer (much cheaper, very effective) I use creamy beige and dark cocoa.

If you aren’t using a finishing spray/ setting spray… SHAME ON YOU!! MAC Fix + is very popular. This spray is used to bring all of your make up together and to set it. Don’t drinch yourself in the spray, as tempting as it may be. Another very popular setting spray is Urban Decay. Personally, I use Urban Decay, but I literally just ran out and CAN NOT wait to purchase some Mac Fix +.

Kat Von D Tattoo eye Liner. Buy some. Love it. Thank me later.

Laura Mercier setting power… what can I say. Everyone owns it and uses it. Setting powder, along with setting spray… you guessed it. They help set your make up. They are supposed to help stop the make up from transferring so much and to keep you from getting too oily. You should buy this. Really. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Anastasia Glow Kit. It may seem like I’m playing favorites here but I promise I’m not. The glow kit is amazing. It is a great palette to have in the collection.
Last, and certainly not least is the blending brush. This brush is crucial in any make up look you may be trying to achieve in the future. The blending brush is used on the eye and its purpose is to help blend the colors that you use for your eye shadow. Each time you add a new color, blend it out to get rid of the harsh lines. When I discovered blending, it took my make up to another level. Make sure to have one of these in your make up bag.
And that’s it for my list folks. What do you think? Are there any other products you can think of that are popular in the make up world? Let me know I’d like to check them out.
